ABSTRACT

Sage is comprehensive unified open source software for mathematical and scientific computing that builds on high-quality mainstream methodologies and tools. This proposal would further the development and use of Sage in combinatorics by funding the purchase of a very high end compute server. Stein would help manage the compute resources, and provide general guidance on the development of Sage in combinatorics and optimal ways to use this hardware to solve difficult mathematical research problems.
