1. How to study for the midterm:
   (1) Do as many problems from the textbook that you can from
       the sections we covered.  Most solutions are in the back
       of the book.
   (2) Make sure you do the practice midterm. 

2. One of the students, Chris, in class will be giving a talk
   with me on the "Sato-Tate conjecture" on Tuesday at 5:10pm
   in Padelford C423 in the number theory seminar.  Everyone is
   invited. 

3. Today: Ask me questions.  I will attempt to answer them for the 
   whole lecture period.
